Department of Finance
The Department of Finance oversees all financial operations of Punjab Saaf Pani Authority, ensuring sound fiscal management, regulatory compliance, and the effective allocation of public and donor resources.
• Managing financial resources across the Annual Development Programme (ADP), donor-funded initiatives, and non-development funds of the Authority.
• Preparing annual, quarterly, and monthly financial budgets to guide resource planning and expenditure control.
• Coordinating the release of development and non-development funds from the Government of Punjab.
• Operating and managing Authority accounts in accordance with prescribed financial procedures, including Special Drawing Accounts, Assignment Accounts, and Commercial Bank Accounts.
• Processing timely payments to contractors, consultants, and vendors in compliance with contractual obligations.
• Disbursing salaries, wages, and allowances to all Authority staff.
• Preparing statutory financial reports and audited financial statements as required by applicable regulations.
• Maintaining comprehensive accounting books and financial records for audit and governance purposes.
• Liaising with external and internal auditors to facilitate financial oversight and accountability.
• Managing revenue collection and conducting value-for-money analyses on capital investments.
• Collaborating with relevant government departments and stakeholders on all financial matters pertaining to the Authority.
