Department of Projects & Quality Control

• Oversee all phases of project execution, from design review to construction completion, ensuring adherence to technical quality, financial discipline, and operational efficiency.
• Review project designs prepared by consultants and implement technical improvements in collaboration with the project team.
• Ensure full project readiness before mobilization to prevent start-up delays and enable smooth implementation.
• Administer and supervise project execution through the Authority's REs and SREs to uphold construction quality and timely completion within the approved schedule.
• Deliver all assigned projects within approved budgets while strictly adhering to technical specifications, preventing cost overruns.
• Prepare and submit supervisory construction plans for each project under the department's jurisdiction.
• Facilitate effective coordination among planning, design, procurement, and contract management units of the Authority.
• Conduct regular site visits to provide technical guidance and resolve emerging construction challenges.
• Resolve contractual disputes or social issues involving clients, contractors, consultants, or community stakeholders promptly to avoid delays.

Occasional Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Maintain liaison with public representatives and beneficiaries throughout project planning, design, and construction phases to ensure transparency and stakeholder engagement.
• Organize seminars and workshops for knowledge sharing and capacity building among stakeholders, public representatives, and Authority staff.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation for management review, and facilitate disclosure of relevant project information on the Authority’s website in accordance with governance and transparency policies.
